Day 1 Chandigarh to Sarahan (260 km, 10hrs)
- Are you ready for a captivating tour? I am sure you are.
- You will not be driven directly to Kinnaur because the way is quite long.
- Thus, to avoid tiredness, the 1st stoppage would be at Sarhan.
- The chauffeur would ride you to the place along with many stoppages on the way to ease-out and, for sightseeing & refreshment.
- Two major halts would be at Mansa Devi temple and Pinjore Gardens in Chandigarh.
- Then, we would be pausing at Timber Trail restaurant in Parwanoo, Shimla (Queen of hills) and Narkanda before reaching Sarhan by late evening.
- It will be a long trip. Sleeping at night would be best to refreshingly start the journey the next day.
Day 2 Sarhan to Sangla (90 km, 3.5 hrs)
- The 2nd day of this Kinnaur Kaza tour will be the most thrilling one as you will be getting to Sangla today.
- Before the 1st starting the journey from Sarhan. Have a nutritious breakfast and you must visit the Bheemakali temple there.
- The 1st stoppage on the way will be at Wangtoo Village. There you can have lunch at a local café and go for a quick amble at Kharcham Wangtoo Hydroelectric Dam.
- Reach the beautiful village of Sangla by evening and rest for the night at the stay (pre-booked)
Day 3 Local Sightseeing at Sangla and Chitkul
- Start the serene and hypnotic taxi tour by first visiting Kamru Fort near Sangla.
- This castle has been rehabilitated into a temple devoted to Kamakshi Devi 100s of years ago.
- The fort overlooks apple orchards sprawled in acres of land with hypnotic mountain sights at the backdrop.
- After that, you will be exploring Chitkul (the last occupant village of north India) after having a pause at Rachkam Village.
- Relish the worthy view of Mt. Kinnaur Kailash from Chitkul and spend plenty of time having lunch and wandering around the village.
- In the evening you will go back to your stay in Sangla with a break in between at Batseri Village, where you can do a shopping spree.
- Rest in the night at Sangla after a prolific day.
Day 4 Sangla to Kalpa & Kalpa Local Sightseeing (41 km, 2-3 hrs)
- Bid goodbye to Sangla after having a nutritious breakfast and proceed to the next town in Kinnaur valley, Kalpa.
- Kalpa nestles near Reckong Peo, the district headquarter of the Kinnaur region.
- Before parking at Reckong Peo, we will halt at Roghi Village, a lovely quaint hamlet.
- After dropping your luggage you will be driving to Suicide Point to observe the captivating sunset.
- Exploration is done for the day! Rest in the night at the hotel.
Day 5 Kalpa to Tabo (150 km, 8 hrs)
- Today will be an archetypal day, as you would be going to the ancient town of Spiti that has the oldest monastery in Himachal.
- On the journey, halts would be given at Nako, Gue, Pooh, and Sumdo villages for tourism, relaxation and food.
- The most stimulating visit will be at the Gue Village where a 500 year old monk’s mummy has been preserved in a monastery.
- Rest at night after reaching your stay at the Tabo village.
Day 6 Tabo to Kaza (50 km, 2 hrs)
- It will be a divine day of the taxi tour package since you will be paying reverence at the Himachal’s oldest monastery in Tabo before heading further.
- The way to Kaza is very long, but we will be giving you a pause at Dhankar Village.
- There, take the advantage of the break and visit Dhankar Monastery and Lake.
- Reach Kaza after a short ride and take a rest in the night.
Day 7 Kaza Sightseeing
- It would be a stirring day of the tour.
- You would be exploring the following places today – Hikkim, Chicham Bridge, Key Monastery, Komik village, and Langza village.
- This many places in a day would definitely make you tired.
- So, come back to the hotel in Kaza in the evening for a relaxing night's stay.
Day 8 Kaza to Manali Via Chandratal Lake(205 km, 10 hrs)
- Time to leave Spiti and enter Kullu valley today.
- Again, it is a long journey with many halts in between.
- The major ones would be at Lossar, Kunzum Pass, Chatru village and Rohtang Pass.
- As you entered Kinnaur to Spiti, the scenery changed. The opposite change you will observe when you enter Kullu valley.
- At Rohtang, spend time by indulging in snow-sports activities.
- You will reach Manali by late evening.
- A tired body requires rest. Hence, relax in the hotel room after having dinner.
Day 9 Manali Local Sightseeing
- Last day for the exploration on this Kinnaur Kaza trip.
- Explore various places in Manali today.
- The list would something like this – Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Van Vihar, Club house Manali, Tibetan Market and Vashisht temple.
- End the day by having a sumptuous dinner at a café on Mall road.
Day 10 Manali to Delhi (570 km, 14 hrs)
- Long journey ahead!
- To reach Delhi airport, it will take minimum of 14 hrs.
- Major breaks would be provided at Sundernagar, Mandi, Chandigarh and Panipat
- Apart from the above, as per requirement, more breaks would be provided.
